Use to add extra flavour to a Pellet Smoker, Weber, Gas or Electric BBQ, or use as a Cold Smoker.
Suitable for all BBQ's including Pellet Smokers eg. YODER – TRAEGER - GMG GREEN MOUNTAIN GRILLS - FORNETTO. Generate 2-4hrs of smoke depending if you smolder it on the Grill, or fully light 1 or 2 corners with our FIRE ROD or $20 BUTANE BLOWTORCH or a gas burner. Place in back corner on Gas or Electric Grill next to meats, and close the lid. Pellet ash stays neatly inside the Wedgie, no mess. See videos below.
N.B. If Wedgie goes out because of the lack of air in your Smoker, simply take the lid off and fully light one whole corner with a Heat Gun.

Smokers are known to lack smokey flavour in their meats as they
primarily burn Pellets for heat with little smoke produced, that famous
Thin Blue Smoke is just heat, flavoursome smoke is actually White, but
we have a Solution, place a Wedgie full of Pellets, on the top back
corner of your Pellet Grill to add extra smokey flavour for an hour
BEFORE you start cooking,
let it smolder slowly and the tasty smoke will penetrate and smoke your
meats before they seal with heat. If you have a large Pellet Grill with
good air flow, keep the Wedgie in during cooking. If it's a smaller
Pellet Cooker with minimal air flow, the Wedgie may go out so place the
wedgie underneath the Grill next to the Fire Pot so it gets air.
can also use it as a Cold Smoker by lighting one corner of the Pellets
with a butane Blow Torch and place it in an old Fridge or Gas or
Electric Smoker to add tasty white cold smoke to smoke Cheeses,
Sausages, or Salami's. Genius!
